SitterPack Privacy Policy

The short version: SitterPack does not require an account, shows no advertising, and does not send your household information to us or anyone else. It stays on your device unless you choose to share a Sitter Pack.

What SitterPack stores

Everything you enter is stored only on your iPhone, inside SitterPack:

• Household details, home instructions, Wi-Fi details and access information such as door or alarm codes
• Pet profiles, photos, routines, medications, allergies and health notes
• Contacts you add, such as your vet, emergency contacts and your sitter
• Trips, including dates, trip-specific changes and checklists

We (the developer) never receive this information. SitterPack has no server that stores it. Like other app data, it can be included in your device backups, such as iCloud Backup, if you have backups turned on.

Sharing a Sitter Pack

When you share a Sitter Guide or Emergency Card, SitterPack creates a PDF and hands it to the app or person you choose through the iOS Share Sheet. After that, the PDF is outside SitterPack's control and can be forwarded or saved like any other file. Access codes, passwords and other sensitive items are left out of Sitter Packs unless you choose to include them, and SitterPack warns you when they are included. Temporary PDF files are deleted from SitterPack when you close the preview.

Purchases

SitterPack Pro is a one-time purchase processed by Apple. SitterPack uses RevenueCat to confirm purchases and restore them on your devices. For this, RevenueCat receives your purchase history and a random identifier created for this app. It is not linked to your name, email address or household information, and it is not used for tracking or advertising. We never see your payment details.

Face ID and app lock

If you turn on app lock, iOS handles Face ID, Touch ID or your passcode. SitterPack only learns whether authentication succeeded and never receives biometric data. App lock hides SitterPack's screens; your data is protected by the same iOS data protection as other apps.

Reminders

Departure reminders are local notifications scheduled on your device. They are never sent through a server. Reminder text is deliberately generic, for example "Your Sitter Pack has 3 unfinished departure tasks," so codes, names and other details never appear on your lock screen.

What SitterPack does not do

• No accounts or sign-in
• No advertising and no advertising SDKs
• No analytics or usage tracking
• No tracking across apps or websites
• No selling or sharing of your information

If you choose to share crash reports with developers in iOS Settings, Apple may provide us with anonymous crash reports. These contain technical details about the crash, not your household information.

Deleting your information

You can delete everything at any time in SitterPack under Settings, then Delete All Data. Deleting the app also removes its data from your device. Because we don't hold a copy, there is nothing further to request from us. Your SitterPack Pro purchase stays with your Apple Account and can be restored after reinstalling.

Children

SitterPack is not directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly collect information from them.

Changes to this policy

If a future version changes how SitterPack handles information (for example, optional iCloud sync), we will update this policy and the date above before that version is released, and describe the change in the release notes.
